Based in Dhahran, REC is an NGO acting as the voice for the renewable energy industry in Saudi Arabia. The Kingdom’s National Renewable Energy Program has set targets of 9.5 GW of renewable energy by 2023 in support of Vision 2030, with an interim target of 3.45 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2020 under the National Transformation Program.
Representing private and public entities, REC brings together national and global stakeholders to realize the vast potential of renewable energy and energy efficiency initiatives that are needed to transform Saudi Arabia’s domestic power supply and develop its rapidly expanding renewable energy sector.

The Club differentiates itself from other Associations in the way it focusses on investment and business perspective. The club plays a vital role in bringing the industry players and policymakers together and sharing the renewable energy sector insights from a broad spectrum on the basis of the scope of renewable energy.
