Dr. Bader Al Busaies


Eng. Abdulmohsin Al Shoaibi


Dr. Bader Al Busaies is the Managing Partner of Saudi Arabia based law firm Al Suwaiket & Al Busaies. He is also Managing Partner at Global Projects Development Holding Co, an advisory and consultancy services company specializing in the energy, water, infrastructure, and cleantech sectors.

Dr. Al Busaies’ experience in the commercial and energy sectors spans more than 15 years. He advises clients from both the public and private sectors relating to corporate, regulatory, energy, trade, privatization, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and environmental regulation in both the domestic and international markets.  He has served as a Board Member and Chairman for several local and international companies and is an active member in a number of internationally recognized associations in the energy and business sector. Dr. Bader holds an L.L.B. from the King Saud University in Riyadh and a Ph.D. with a major in comparative law from the American University of London.



Eng. Abdulmohsin Al Shoaibi is the Managing Director of Solar Arabia Ltd. and acting Managing Partner at Global Projects Development Holding Co where he leads the organization’s corporate strategy and communications. He has more than 25 years experience in the clean energy sector ranging from strategic planning and operations, to project portfolio management, and testing and commissioning of fully-integrated renewable energy project power systems.

A pioneer of the clean energy sector, Abdulmohsin was a founder of BP Solar Arabia and is a renowned global champion for renewable energy. He is a recipient of the Life Time Achievement Award by the Middle East Solar Industry Association in recognition of his commitment to the industry to advance the adoption of renewable energy in the MENA region. 

A philanthropist, Eng. Al Shoaibi dedicates much of his time representing the region’s clean energy sector on the global stage and has founded a number of non-profit organizations committed to developing MENA’s renewable energy sector including the Saudi Arabia Solar Industry Association and most recently the Kingdom’s Renewable Energy Club.

Eng. Al Shoaibi is based in Riyadh and holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toledo, USA.
